Pair of ancient Cypriot gold drop earrings, the Carnelian bead drops finely etched with standing female figures and of a seated and crowned figure with wheat sheaf with supplicants before a bull form idol on a table, suspended on a beaded and wire work mount with upper classical cameo bale, max H7.4cm

Note - the beads seem to be of an earlier period to the more classically defined Romanesque cameo

Provenance - From the collection of an RAF serviceman based in Akrotiri, Cyprus during the early 1960s, the collection was acquired during that period within Cyprus and now sold through direct descent
